Nice Summer dish – Gammon and mixed beans chowder
I’ve been using pressure cooker a lot lately. Today I cooked this lovely summer dish Gammon & mixed bean chowder for my family – everybody enjoyed it!
Ingredients:
500 g boneless gammon joint chopped into dices
100 g mixed red kidney bean, barley and black-eyed peas, all soaked overnight
2 onions, roughly
2 carrots, diced
2 bay leaf
300 ml chicken stock
250 ml chopped tomato
Put in the mixed beans at the bottom of the pan, then chopped vegetable, sicken stock goes on top, then chopped tomato go in the last.
Timer should be set as 30 minutes, then just sit back and wait for the cuisine!
